Together, let’s co-create learning spaces rooted in creativity, care, and cultural affirmation.
Sentipensante Connections offers professional learning and creative wellness experiences grounded in a culturally sustaining approach that treats creativity, ritual, and reflection as essential conditions for well-being and learning.
All work is guided by the Magic • Play • Love™ Framework, which supports educators and students in reconnecting with their creative force, strengthening relationships, and cultivating learning spaces where young people feel seen, heard, and loved.
From this foundation, there are two primary pathways to collaborate, depending on your context and goals.
Pathway 1: Creative Wellness Professional Development
(Educator & Program-Facing)
This pathway is designed for after-school and expanded learning leaders who want to strengthen their team’s capacity to design and facilitate culturally sustaining creative wellness spaces.
Through immersive professional learning, coaching, and practical tools, I support educators in cultivating environments where Latina middle and high school students—and other youth of color—can build confidence, strengthen connection, and nurture their creative force.
This work is especially well-suited for teams who:

Pathway 2: Student-Facing Creative Wellness Workshops
(Student-Centered)
This pathway is designed for college programs, student support offices, and community spaces seeking direct, student-facing creative wellness experiences.
These workshops support students—often Latina students and youth of color—in nurturing creativity, affirming identity, and supporting well-being through ritual, storytelling, reflection, and play.
Current student workshop offerings include:
*Ritual Work for Creativity
Support participants in transitioning from mental overwhelm to grounding and clarity. This workshop reconnects them with their innate creative force as a source of direction and meaning.
*Creative Play as a Wellness Practice
Invite participants to release pressure and reconnect with joy. Through play, wellness becomes a pathway to lightness, presence and embodied expression.
*Creative Spaces of Care: Being Seen, Heard, and Loved
Guide participants from isolation toward relational connection. Through creative expression and attentive witnessing, participants experience affirmation and care within community.
Each workshop is designed as a standalone experience, offering a low-barrier entry point into Sentipensante creative wellness work.
Impact
Evidence Rooted in Practice
Every aspect of Sentipensante Connections is intentionally designed and research-informed, drawing from over a decade of program design, facilitation, and reflective evaluation.
The Magic • Play • Love™ Framework reflects years of lived practice, not theory alone. While Sentipensante Connections represents the formalization of this work into a consulting practice, the pedagogy and impact are rooted in long-standing experience working directly with students and educators.
A Proven Foundation
The framework was originally developed and refined through Liberando Nuestras Voces, a creative writing and arts-based initiative for Latina middle school students. In just 12 weeks, participating students experienced:
📈47% increase in self-confidence
🗣️84% reported improved public speaking skills
🎨58% became more willing to take creative risks
These outcomes continue to inform how Sentipensante Connections designs creative wellness experiences across settings.
What Participants Share
Participants consistently describe the work as:
“My confidence has changed dramatically and I think this is because everyone is incredibly nice and supportive. One moment that really stood out to me was when I had to share in front of the group and the “love notes” were passed back to me. This made me feel not so scared and more confident.”
— Student participant
"It allowed me to think about who I am as a person, with all the complexities that come with it. I reflected on who I represent, why I feel what I do, and what tangible actions I can take to release/process them."
— Workshop participant
"Remembering to pause in life and play."
